Kinetic
Energy

Any object of mass m and speed v is defined to have a kinetic energy of

KE = 1/2 mv2.

Work-kinetic energy theorem: The net work done on an object by a net force acting on it is equal to the change in kinetic energy of the object.

Wnet = KEf - KEi
